Marketing and Demand Generation Manager

At TechnologyAdvice (TA), our mission is to educate, advise and connect buyers and sellers of business technology. As marketers, our goal is to continuously improve upon the ways we are connecting with both existing and future customers. In order to aid in that goal, we are searching for a marketing and demand generation manager with experience driving real success for the bottom line. We are a revenue-marketing department, meaning you will be measured not just based on the quantity of leads produced, but the revenue generated from those leads. Our ideal candidate will be a lead-by-example innovator who is passionate about continual growth and improvement.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the marketing team, content strategy, demand generation, and marketing communication of the department
  • Must be skilled with SEO and have a thorough understanding of search engines and inbound traffic
  • Manage the marketing efforts of TA’s inbound business model, ensuring traffic growth to technologyadvice.com, conversion growth, and the production of more leads each month
  • Help manage the packaging of and productization of TA’s lead generation services
  • SEM - Where applicable, manage paid media channels, including LinkedIn and PPC
  • Manage lead channels for TA’s internal sales team, focused on selling lead generation programs. Ensure lead channels are driving revenue growth, not just MQL numbers
  • Ensure growth of email marketing database driving net-new leads for sales team
  • Focused on continual learning and improvement - up to date on new marketing trends as well as industry best practices

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years in marketing and/or demand generation
  • An advanced understanding of SEO and inbound marketing
  • Management experience of a marketing team
  • Strong understanding of the lead generation marketplace
  • Experience with Marketing Automation (Act-On would be ideal)
  • Experience specifically with B2B marketing highly desirable
  • Strategic thinker, while being execution focused
